Components Included in the Box - parking sensor system

Parking sensor system, You will have some sensors like this, so in total, there will be four sensors in it. Apart from this, you will see a small monitor, which tells you the distance of the device behind you. There will be a main controller in which all these devices will be installed. Here, it is written that there is a power socket and a display socket. So here A, B, C, D sensors mean all the sensors' sockets are going to be there in the controller. Additionally, there is a power cable with only two wires, red and black. The black one will be ground, and the red one will be connected to the reverse light of your car.

Installing the Parking Sensors

Here, you have been given a drill bit to make a hole, and with its help, you will make a hole according to the size of your sensor. You will also get a user manual and a double-sided adhesive, one for installing the LCD and the other for the controller. This is what comes in the box. Now, let's go straight to the car and install it. parking sensor system.

Connecting the Power Wires - parking sensor system

To install the sensor, you don't have to do much. You just have to mark it properly, then drill four holes and fit the sensors. I will quickly show you how. So, I made all four holes, and now the sensors will be put in. I took the sensors from inside, and now I will show them to you.

Setting Up the Main Controller

Here, I have taken out all four sensors, but I do not know which wire belongs to which sensor. To find out, you put any sensor in the controller, and a noise is created, indicating the correct connection. First of all, you have to connect the power wire: red and black. Just connect it with the wiring of the reverse light. In my case, it is black and red-colored wire, so I put it here, in its socket, and close it. First, you have to make the power connection like this.

Running Wires to the Dashboard

After this, you have to connect all the wires to the main controller. Here, the power wire will be connected, the sensors will be connected, and the display will be connected. I have connected all the wires. Now, I will put the control here and run the display wire to the headboard. The system is straightforward. You just have to open the panel, run the wire underneath it, and then close the panel again.

Testing the Parking Sensors

Finally, you have to put the display on the dashboard. Now, let's test it. I have placed all four sensors in their positions, and now let's test it. In the morning, I see that the display is off. As I put my bag in it, the display will turn on. Now see, the display has turned on, and I am asking my friend to come closer. You can see the distance on the display.

Final Adjustments and Observations

I noticed that the left sensor is working. The right sensor is also working. The distance is shown accurately. However, this device is a little less accurate compared to the original. You can install it as well. It is not so bad if your sensor is working properly. I do not want to install this display here, and its sound is also bothering me, so I will install it somewhere under the dashboard and put some tape over the speaker to reduce the sound.
